This site exists because I wanted a place to write that is intentionally simple.
Over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot of notes—about technology, security, systems design, tools I like (and don’t), and lessons learned from real-world experience. Most of that information ends up scattered across ticket notes, OneNote pages, chat messages, or half-finished drafts that never quite make it anywhere permanent.
This site is an attempt to change that.
A Place to Think in Public
This isn’t meant to be a polished marketing site or a carefully curated personal brand. It’s a space to think out loud, document ideas, and share observations that might be useful later—either to me or to someone else who stumbles across them.
Some posts will be long and detailed.
Some will be short notes or links with commentary.
Some may simply exist so I don’t forget how or why I did something.
That’s intentional.
Why Static, and Why Simple
The site itself is deliberately boring from a technical standpoint.
There’s no CMS, no database, no admin panel, and no background services quietly accumulating risk over time. The content is just files—plain text and images—built and served as static pages.
That choice is philosophical as much as technical:
- Fewer moving parts means fewer things to maintain.
- A smaller attack surface means less risk.
- Content stored as files is portable and durable.
- The site loads fast and works everywhere.
In other words, the infrastructure fades into the background, which lets the writing take center stage.
What You’ll Find Here
Over time, this site will likely include:
- Notes and opinions on technology and security
- Reviews of tools, platforms, and products I actually use
- Architecture diagrams and implementation lessons
- Links worth revisiting, with context on why they matter
- Occasional non-technical observations that don’t fit anywhere else
There’s no fixed publishing schedule and no attempt to optimize for engagement. Posts get written when there’s something worth writing down.
What You Won’t Find
You won’t find:
- Hot takes for the sake of hot takes
- SEO-driven filler content
- Polished thought leadership pieces designed to sell something
If something is here, it’s because it felt useful, interesting, or worth remembering.
An Ongoing Experiment
This site is not “finished,” and it probably never will be.
The structure may change. Categories may evolve. Posts may be revised or expanded over time. That’s part of the point. It’s a living notebook more than a static archive.
If it ends up being useful to others, that’s a bonus.
If it’s mostly useful to me, that’s enough.
Either way, this is where it lives now.
